Custom made coffee cozy

Chantale at the cafe wanted a coffee cozy.
Gill told me she likes things with crowns.
She was wearing a plaid shirt that day.

This is what I made for her.

Want one? Let me know.
I'll make one custom made just for you for only 20$.
At that price, who wouldn't want one!

You can contact me at ashleybilodeau@yahoo.com

Sunday Sunshine

Hey everyone,

So the whole quitting your job for a passion thing is pretty rad. The reason I make these things is because I want to make something that people will hold tight, love and maybe even slobber on while taking naps. My whole life I've adored the things my mother made for me and my two sisters. I want to bring that home made lovability to the world and show them that the real precious objects in this life we live are things that shine threw and stand out from the ordinary. It's ok to be different, and that is what I am trying to prove. The difference is, these pieces are made by someone who wants to be making them.

If any of you have anything special in mind, let me know. I'd love to make a custom order.

Show some love, support MOOSE PROJECT.

Again with the late nights.

Hey There!

So yeah, today got my pretty excited. Lots of coverage, and an extra lil hooray my way never hurt anyone.
I've been listening to alot of Julie Doiron lately. Hence my whimsical moose mobile.
Get ready for more, and different varieties. I'm so lucky I live on a street covered in giant old maple tree's.

I bet your thinking I cut branches off for my crafts. WRONG. I find them. People trim their tree's, and like a tiny squirrel, I snag all the wee branches left to sit there in the rain. I rescue these twigs in a way, from a life of joining the garbage pit of doom.

Moose Project cares for all those unwanted twigs, and brings them a new life. One filled with people like you and I ooing and ahhhing.

Here are some snap shots into my life at night.

Oh and a funny one of a moose I made getting free ride from my work horse.. piff.. the debauchery.

FABRICS ARE IN!

I experienced the  sheer excitement of opening my box from
reprodepot tonight. YAY! So many colours and shapes to play with. I have 3 pillows and moose project decals in mind already.
I've worked really hard and finally finished my stitching of a moose and a tree. These pieces will be turned into pillows. For now, I am sharing images of what you get when I pull off hours of stitching.

Enjoy the images and feel free to throw any feed back my way! I'd love to hear from you.

MOOSE PROJECT - day 1

Deciding to stop working in the apparel wholesale distribution industry is a easy step. No longer can I face my reflection everyday knowing I am participating in something that is unethical. Sweat shops and cheap labour are not a good fit with my self esteem, pride or business ethic. Seeing as our society  chooses on a daily basis to contribute to this industry I have no choice but to stop feeding the beast, or at least choosing not to make it a career choice.

Moose project is a dream, one I've chosen to make a reality. My heritage is one of a long line of women who have made hand crafted creations. They put love and affection in all things made for family and friends. Craft rooms have been essential parts of homes.

My mother used to wood work and paint, finishing with jewellery. She would drag me along as a child to craft fairs held in church basements  and arena's.

I am taking my memories and turning them into my own business.  I want to live a life I take pride in and make things for people who will love them.  Introducing MOOSE PROJECT. Keep a close eye. New creations will be offered fresh from my studio located in Montreal, Quebec.

MOOSE PROJECT: ATTACK THE WORLD.
